เรื่องย่อ ซีรีส์แนวเขย่าขวัญลึกลับเรื่องนี้มีกำหนดเปิดตัวตอนแรก ในวันที่ 11 พ.ค.ที่จะถึงนี้ แต่ว่าได้มีการปล่อยตอนแรกออกมาชิมลางล่วงหน้า ใน Penny Dreadful นี้คุณจะได้เห็นเหล่าตัวละครที่น่ากลัวจากวรรณกรรมเลื่องชื่ออาทิเช่น แฟรงเกนสไตน์ , ดอเรียน เกรย์ , ตัวละครจาก แด็กคูล่า ฯลฯ เรื่องเล่าสยองขวัญคลาสสิคถูกร้อยเรียงกับเรื่องราวใหม่ในบรรยากาศอึมครึม น่าขนลุกของลอนดอนในยุควิคตอเรียน ประกอบไปด้วยดารานักแสดงชื่อดังมากมาย อาทิ อีวา กรีน , จอร์จ ฮาร์ทเน็ต , ทิโมธี ดัลตัน ฯลฯ คำว่า Penny Dreadful ใช้เรียกนิยายปกอ่อนราคาถูกของอังกฤษในช่วงศตวรรษที่ 19 เป็นผลมาจากการเพิ่มขึ้นของจำนวนผู้ที่รู้หนังสือจึงมีความต้องการในการอ่าน มากขึ้นในหมู่คนที่มีรายได้น้อย เนื้อหาประโลมโลกหรือไม่ก็ตื่นเต้นระทึกใจ มักจะออกมาเป็นชุดๆให้ติดตามรายสัปดาห์ ราคาเล่มละ 1 เพนนี พูดง่ายๆคือเน้นถูกแต่บันเทิง บางครั้งคนเขียนก็ได้ไอเดียมาจากข่าวอาชญากรรมครึกโครมในสมัยนั้นมาเขียน ฟังดูแล้วก็คล้ายๆการ์ตูนผีเล่มละบาทกับพวกนิยายรักรันทดเล่มบางๆที่หน้าปก มักจะเป็นรูปดาราที่ขายกันในบ้านเราสมัยก่อน เครดิตซับไทย shalex

เรื่องย่อ ที่ The Newsroom เป็นเรื่องราวของผู้ประกาศข่าวผู้มีชื่อเสียง คือ Will McAvoy ที่เริ่มจะหมดไฟ คิดอ่านอะไรไม่ค่อยจะทัน ทำให้อยู่ๆเกิดสติแตกและตอบความเห็นต่อผู้ที่ถามคำถามที่ฟังแล้วถึงกับอึ้ง แต่เมื่อตั้งสติได้เขาก็เข้าใจได้ว่าตัวเองทำผิดพลาดไปจึงต้องหลบไปพักร้อน เมื่อเขากลับมาทำงานจึงได้รู้ว่า ทีมงานของเขาถูกย้ายไปทำงานให้กับนักข่าวไฟแรงคนใหม่ และเขาต้องทำงานกับทีมงานใหม่ที่เหมือนจะเป็นคู่อริกับเขา คือ Mackenzie MacHale เธอได้เลือกที่จะใช้แนวทางใหม่กับ Will McAvoy ใช้ในการนำเสนอข่าว เพื่อให้เขาได้กลับมาเป็นผู้ประกาศข่าวยอดเยี่ยมอีกครั้ง ซึ่งเหมือนจะไม่ง่ายนัก The Newsroom อาจจะไม่ใช่แนวซีรี่ย์ที่หลายๆคนชอบ แต่อยากให้ลองนึกถึงว่าเป็นเรื่องราวของคนรายงานข่าวที่มี่ชื่อเสียงอย่างคุณสรยุทธ ที่รายงานข่าวต่างๆได้อย่างเจาะลึก เพียงแต่เบื่องหลังนั้นยังจำเป็นต้องมีทีมงานที่ยอดเยี่ยมที่ทำงานร่วมกับเขาด้วย เพื่อให้เราได้รับรู้ถึงข่าวต่างๆนั้นได้อย่างเข้าใจ [ ซับไทยเรื่องนี้ได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากคุณ "howsad" ที่กรุณาแปลซับไทยที่ยอดเยี่ยมให้เราได้ชมและเข้าใจเนื้อเรื่องของซีรี่ย์เรื่องนี้ครับ ขอบคุณมากครับ]
